October in Michigan is all sorts of special, and Nick and Chelsea’s golf course scene had all the makings of a perfect fall wedding. There were so many great memories. Chelsea had a first look with her dad and then with her groom. I loved that Chelsea and Nick read their vows to each other right after their first look. They probably decided to do this to quelch any anxiety during the ceremony, but it turned into something extremely fitting for the two of them. For just a few minutes they read what they had written to each other but the readings took on a form of their own, and it was evident that they weren’t just written to check off something on the list…it was things that they wanted to say to each other on their wedding day. Cue the tears (at least for my second shooter, Maria…)…
The ceremony itself was wonderful overlooking Cherry Creek Golf Course, and I loved using the greens for portraits and family photos (that that GIF, right?). And undoubtedly, this will go down in the books as one of the best party atmospheres that lasted well into the evening.
Congratulations, Nick and Chelsea!
