The Guadian Building
Timmy and Taylor met at Michigan State, and the two didn’t take long to realize they were ideal for each other. The morning festivities began at the Detroit Mariott on the water overlooking views of the city and the Detroit River. The sun was shining, and the city was at its finest. We headed to the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament for the ceremony. I love being in the little side area of the church near the altar. And since Father JJ Mech is Timmy’s uncle, the homily was bound to tell a few stories, and he didn’t disappoint. Those little giggles and stolen glances between the couple were some of the sweetest moments of the day. Timmy and Taylor asked the guests to meet us outside of the church for a huge group shot, and it was a total hit. What a great memory!
After portraits in Detroit, the couple greeted guests at the Guardian Building in Detroit and the party easily bragged of one of the most lively dance floors I have ever seen.
Side note: I love lively dance floors.
Congratulations, Timmy and Taylor!
