Sometimes I ask couples, what is the one thing that you want your wedding to be about? For Jordan and Harriet, the answer came easy. Harriet’s family tradition was to plan a wedding in Grosse Pointe Farms at the Academy. But their top priority was clear—soaking in every moment with the people who mean the most to them for the entire weekend.
And honestly, they nailed it. They kicked things off with a welcome dinner at the Ash Bar in Detroit, where the celebration carried on late into the night. You can check out some highlights from that evening here.
Their wedding at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel beautifully showcased their faith. After the ceremony, everyone gathered at the Little Club for a night of dinner, dancing, and memorable moments, with the Simone Vitale Band keeping the energy high. The night flew by, and before we knew it, midnight arrived. Nearly every guest stayed to give Jordan and Harriet a heartfelt send-off as they headed off on their honeymoon first to Rome and then on to South Africa.
