For Jess and Matt’s love story, we can go back to high school. Matt had a crush on Jessica in a physics class but they never had the chance to hit it off. Years later, the couple connected through social media and a mutual friend. Matt tweeted lyrics from Jessica’s favorite band that caught her attention. She instantly liked his tweet which gave Matt the green light to message her. The rest is history. A first date, love, careers, traveling the earth, and finally this summer they will tie the knot. But first, engagement session. It’s still one of my favorite ways to get to know a couple and how they are together. It’s just the thing. We headed out to Eastern Market (you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE that place) and then on to Belle Isle. It was gorgeous weather with lots of greens from summer still hanging around. Also, we got a sunset. If you know anything about me, there aren’t many sunsets that don’t give me pause. I love them all, and some of the best show off our city. I couldn’t get enough of Jess and Matt OR of the killer Detroit Skyline. Enjoy!
