Claire and Jake’s wedding day was lovely and featured some of the most historic places in Detroit. The ladies got ready at the Hotel St. Regis, and it was the ideal city location to showcase Claire’s aesthetic. Claire loves all things vintage, and she wears it well. She had incredible details: 18th century Mikimoto pearls and vintage YSL shoes. But man, as lovely as Claire was in her dress and amazing the Hotel St. Regis is, nothing compares the joy during their first look. It was one for the books. After portraits, we headed to St. Peter & Paul’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Southwest Detroit. The ceremony was rich with centuries-old tradition and the colors in the church were stunning. The celebration followed at the Crystal Gardens, and Claire and Jake greeted their closest friends and family tore up the dance floor late into the evening.
