Heather and Pete have quite a long history together and decided that they were going to get married this year however the day looked. I am going to tell ya it was a win-win–they both looked beautiful and their sunny September day was one of the most beautiful I can remember. There were so many things that happened throughout the day that touched on who the people and things that are important to them. Heather got dressed at the Dearborn Inn, and she incorporated special things to honor the family that couldn’t be with her. We knew when her father was walking in to see her, and I prepared myself for tears. Dad’s moments with his daughter on her wedding day was precious. Pete and Heather’s ceremony was gorgeous at The Church of the Divine Child–including a few stolen glances between the two. The best part of the ceremony is Pete’s face when he processed back down the aisle with his beautiful new bride.
The couple greeted their friends and family at the Dearborn Inn. Cocktail hour was outside in their beautiful courtyard. The tent reception followed after a Polish Blessing and everyone dancing in the grass with the couple. Pete and Heather are truly blessed with a huge crew that loves them, and they are so easy to love.
Congratulations, Pete and Heather!
