When I first talked to Laura about their wedding plans, they weren’t sure where they were going to get married. Their local church wasn’t available, and Laura had hoped for a really lovely historic building. After doing some research, I came across photos of Fort Street Presbyterian Church in Detroit. It seemed perfect. I was immediately taken aback by the structure and the details inside of the church (and that light…..it just doesn’t get much better in historic buildings). And Jeff and Laura fell in love with it too. In fact, we met at the church to start their engagement session. Take a peek here.
The wedding day itself was a totally delightful day. All the ladies were able to get ready in this large bridal suite (and the flower girl….could she have been any stinking cuter????). Both Laura and Jeff’s sweet boys participated in the ceremony, and we had a great bridal party. There were sweet glances during the ceremony itself, and we spent time in the late afternoon shooting portraits in the city. Finally, we headed to Arnaldo’s for a reception.
Congratulations, Laura and Jeff!
Thanks for a killer team for making the day absolutely perfect!
