Jeff and Kristin’s wedding at Silver Shores in Wyandotte had all of the right elements of a beautiful wedding day. Jeff couldn’t keep his eyes dry when he saw his bride for the first time, and he didn’t miss a beat when he watched her walk down the aisle. In fact, I am pretty sure that she left him speechless. They are boaters and knew that they wanted to get married as close to the water as possible…and Silver Shores fit the bill. While we did get quite a storm during dinner, we did lovely portraits beforehand and they were able to say their vows in front of family and friends. The rain came in quickly, and it added that little extra fun that Michigan weather often adds to the story of a wedding day. And it makes for pretty fantastic photos.
Some of the little things I loved were Kristin’s deck shoes (who doesn’t want to wear Sperry’s all of the time), grandpa’s custom dock poles and a lighthouse card box, the two captain wheels with photos of loved ones, and of course, Jeff’s face looking at his bride all day. 🙂
Congratulations Jeff and Kristin!
