Snow-flakes
Oh, Michigan. Some of you will read this and be taken with me to winter and while Sarah and Garret’s wedding wasn’t full of snow, it was just as beautiful as a poem. We are blessed with the most wonderful 4 seasons here in this state, and even though I crave the sunshine throughout the winter, I am always so grateful for the beauty and peace that winter brings. Sarah and Garret’s winter wedding embodied all of the delights of winter. They spent their time making sure that everyone in attendance felt cozy and loved and warm, and they chose rich colors that felt like a giant hug. I loved those few minutes before the ceremony that Sarah had with her parents and Garret’s look at he walked her walk down that long aisle. We made traditional portraits at the church and just a few of the wedding party before the reception at Waldenwoods. Their creative photos were a little different though. Since Garret wanted to see her first coming down the aisle and the sun was setting as they left the ceremony, we decided that we would meet the following week, get those killer wedding clothes on, and spend all of the time we wanted in front of the camera. If you know me, I was not going to complain about that.
Congratulations, Garret and Sarah!
