Doug & Allise chose Frutig Farms for the setting for their wedding ceremony and reception–it was my first time on the location, and the charming landscape of Frutig Farms was everything. The walk to the ceremony site was short but it still has a beautiful secluded feel to it and when Michigan spring is in showing up, it’s a site to behold. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect spot for the setting of their wedding.
If I go through their photos over and over, I still get caught up by Doug’s expression when he first saw his bride and how much fun the wedding party was (hey, I have to admit I had to privilege to photograph two bridesmaids weddings and I just adore this entire crew)….and let’s talk about the kiss that dad gave Allise on the top of the head at the ceremony. We were all in tears. Guests were treated to Cuban Food from Frida Batidos during cocktail hour and dinner and it was SO GOOD. The upstairs was filled with dancers who only took a break when the sunset over the Valley pulled us outdoors.
And that sunset was worth it.
