When I first talked to Brittany and Steven, it took about three seconds to know that this wedding would be another favorite of mine. Of course, I love amazing details, but more than that, I look forward to photographing people that would be my friends. I had known the Edge family for several years, so I knew that the entire day would be a blast.
And when I first met Brittany, her big, genuine smile told me that she was perfect…and perfect for Steven.
The day came and, as always, time flew for me. I didn’t want to put my camera down for even a second. The ceremony took place at Kirby Church, and you can see one of my very favorite shots (ever) of the two of them right after the wedding. Brittany looking at her ring (she is married!!!!), and Steven loving looking at his new wife. Ahhhh…
The reception followed at the Laurel Manor in Livonia. Details everywhere showing people who they are, and family and friends there celebrating the lifelong commitment. After all of the great toasts, a lovely meal, the photobooth, and dancing until you couldn’t dance anymore, it was time for me to go home. Although I didn’t want to go, I was happy to leave knowing that I was able to capture the beginning of Steven and Brittany’s story. And knowing their nature, love, and commitment to Jesus, I look forward to seeing their marriage grow in joy.
Many Blessings to you, Mr. & Mrs. Edge!
