Years after high school these two connected, and it began. After college, Caiti traveled abroad for her art history degree and working on the East Coast. That time apart meant something–and when they were finally planning their wedding, it made all of the festivities even sweeter (including a gorgeous engagement session here). This celebration had all of the things that made us swoon. Caiti’s dress was incredible (the dress was purchased at the Wedding Shopped) but Caiti designed and created the sheath of this dress in the most delicate way. Her skills and eye for artist really have no bounds. A bagpiper represented Cait’s time overseas, and they made plenty of time to photograph her friends and family. Their first dance was magical, but one of my favorite parts of the evening happened late after dinner. Caiti and David were chatting with friends and were nowhere near the dance floor…but the first notes of Van Morison’s Brown Eyed Girl could be heard and David grabbed his new wife and danced with her right where they were.
It’s the little things. And David, I hope that every time your favorite song comes on, you grab your wife and dance with her right in the middle of the kitchen.
Congratulations, friends!
