“If you get one bad photo of Laura, can you just send it directly to us? She is so photogenic, and we can NEVER get a bad photo of her!” I laughed. Raw Honesty. The best kind of wedding day. As I snapped photos of Laura throughout the day, I soon found Laura’s friends were absolutely right. It is downright impossible to capture a bad photo of her. I promise ladies, I tried.
To be fair, I had a guess this would be the case. I met Trevor and Laura about six months before the wedding. While they live in the south, the couple came back to Michigan to celebrate Christmas. We first met for a micro engagement session in Detroit. Take a look at their Detroit Engagement Session here. As you can see…photographic gold!
Laura and Trevor’s loved ones couldn’t wait until the ceremony or reception to celebrate them. The morning started out as a big celebration with plenty of music and laughter to go around. A dance party may or may not have broken out—okay, I have proof of it (: They got ready on a beautiful lake; it was such a memorable wedding morning!
The couple met at St. Hugo of the Hills in Bloomfield for their vows. Laura and Trevor couldn’t stop smiling at each other throughout the ceremony. Love was palpable. (I noticed that Laura’s dad was almost as excited as Trevor, he was so proud of his girl!)
Following the ceremony, we traveled from the church and grabbed a few portraits of the bridal party and newlyweds. And then, the real party began. We celebrated like crazy with dinner and dancing at Colony Club in Detroit. This group knows how to have a good time!
Thank you, Laura and Trevor, for allowing me to capture such a wonderful day!
