Forgive me. You all have been waiting way too long for this crazy fun wedding to hit the blog.
Josh and Rachel planned this spring wedding, and they wanted everything about it to be them. These two enjoy just being together, outside, and if they can fish while they do it, it can’t get better (yes, you should go take a look at their engagement photos here).
And it did. Everything from the crazy giggles, loving hugs from parents, to dancing in the rain…it was all what I imagined would be their dream wedding. It didn’t hurt that the venue was probably one of the most fun spots in the Lansing area. Where else do you get served your dinner by Farmer Ed? The entire day rocked.
To Josh and Rachel, I wish you the most happy life together. I imagine the smiles will only get bigger.
Do you want to know who made their day rock?

Who isn’t a sucker for a first look with dad right before the ceremony? It was the perfect few moments right before the ceremony.
From the ceremony site, we headed back to the Event Barn. It was a warm May day (and really, it isn’t often that we say that in Michigan), but entire team on the farm made sure that every guest was comfortable and happy. It was just a great way to celebrate.
We even got a very late summer storm, but man, I can’t complain. When the sky gives me the most lovely clouds that split up just enough for a short but perfect sunset, I don’t mind the rain.
