Marki and Jackson’s fall wedding at The Eastern in Detroit was all about fun, real emotions, and a party that lasted all night. The Eastern, with its big windows and open space, was the perfect spot for their day.
They got ready in downtown hotels and didn’t see each other until the ceremony. That first moment was emotional and so worth the wait. Marki had one surprise up her sleeve—she arrived in Jackson’s Detroit Police car, which was such a fun and personal touch.
The ceremony was filled with happy tears and lots of love. Instead of leaving for portraits, we stayed on site so they could spend more time with their guests during cocktail hour. The space gave us plenty of spots for photos without missing a thing.
The reception was everything you’d hope for in a wedding at The Eastern. Dinner, laughter, and a dance floor that stayed full until the very end. It was a celebration that felt true to them in every way.
