Michael & Haley’s Trenton Wedding at Chateau on the River

February 5, 2024

A Trenton Wedding at St. Paul Lutheran and Chateau on the River

Michael and Haley’s wedding felt like it was exactly where it was supposed to be—from getting ready at home to dancing the night away by the water. The whole day was full of familiar places, close family, and the kind of joy that doesn’t need to be overdone.

The morning started at Haley’s parents’ house, where she got ready with her crew. She wore a pearl necklace that was a gift and carried a handkerchief passed down from her great-grandmother—small, meaningful details that made the day even more special.

Before heading to the church, Haley and Michael exchanged letters. It was a quiet, simple moment just for them before everything got going.

They got married at St. Paul Lutheran Church, the same church Haley grew up going to—and the same one where her parents were married. That made the ceremony even more personal. Haley had dreamed of this day since she was a kid, and planning the ceremony in that space felt really full-circle.

They shared a first look before the ceremony, which gave them a few calm moments together. After the “I do’s,” we took some portraits at the church before heading to the reception.

The celebration moved to Elizabeth Park’s Chateau on the River, right along the water in Trenton. It was the perfect spot for good food, good company, and a packed dance floor. Haley said she couldn’t wait to dance to ABBA and Whitney Houston—and she definitely made that happen.

The cake, made by Cakes by Stephanie in Monroe, was as good as it looked, an easy highlight of the night.

After the party wrapped up, Michael and Haley took off for their honeymoon in San Diego. Their wedding day was simple, meaningful, and full of the kind of energy that sticks with you long after it’s over.
