Kathryn and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at her parents’ home in Sylvania. The house was filled with laughter, chatter, and the kind of joyful chaos that only happens when a big, close family gathers together. Between sisters, cousins, and friends—and plenty of nieces and nephews running around—it was pure fun from the start.
I’ve had the honor of photographing several weddings for the Viviano family over the years, and every time, it feels like catching up with old friends. Their gatherings are always full of warmth and genuine connection, and I love how each new celebration brings a few more little ones into the mix. Kathryn’s bond with her nieces and nephews was especially sweet—they clearly adore her, and she made each of them feel included in her day.
The ceremony took place at Saint Joseph Parish in Sylvania, where the pews were filled with family and friends eager to watch Kathryn and Lukas exchange vows. After the ceremony, we explored the area for portraits and found the most stunning tree line at the Toledo Botanical Garden Metropark. It was the perfect backdrop—lush, green, and peaceful in that timeless Toledo way.
One of the most beautiful details of the day was the floral design, created by Kathryn’s own family at Viviano Flower Shop. Their work is always exceptional, but this day felt extra special. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and floral accent carried both artistry and sentiment—crafted with love by the people who know her best.
The celebration continued at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg, where guests enjoyed dinner, dancing, and a night full of laughter. Before the party kicked off, Kathryn swapped her veil for fresh flowers in her hair—a subtle but stunning change that perfectly matched her easy, romantic style.
