When Alex reached out the year before their wedding, I knew that their winter wedding at the Treasury was going to be one to remember. Their engagement session was full of laughs and sheer joy and I knew that our cameras wouldn’t get a break. The morning started at the Air B&B above the treasury. The space was perfect for getting ready, laughing, and enjoying pre-ceremony munchies (although it wasn’t chick-fil-a…I guess they wouldn’t deliver…hmph). I loved dad putting the dress up to be photographed and mom taking in the look of her daughter after she was dressed in her wedding clothes.
Sean’s morning wasn’t as busy but he was so incredibly excited to see his bride. And he sure didn’t hide his happy tears. After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to Birmingham to catch the later afternoon sunshine and make gorgeous portraits before heading back to greet guests at the Treasury. And the party was so good.
Congratulations!
