There’s something special about early fall in Michigan—the kind of weather that makes you want to pause and soak it all in. David and Emma chose September for their wedding at the Ann Arbor City Club, and the day couldn’t have been better.
They kept things simple and close-knit, just the way they wanted. The outdoor space at the City Club made the perfect spot for their ceremony, with sunlight filtering through the trees as they exchanged vows.
Afterward, they welcomed their guests on the patio for cocktail hour. There was an easy rhythm to the afternoon, handshakes, hugs, and familiar laughs. You could feel how much love was in the room, or rather, on the patio.
It was one of those weddings where you don’t need much else. Just good people, fresh air, and a couple who clearly knew what mattered most. I’m grateful to have been there to witness it all.
