Emily and Kevin’s September wedding at Wabeek Country Club was everything you’d hope for in a Michigan fall celebration—calm, joyful, and perfectly timed with that warm early-autumn breeze.
The day started off slow and relaxed. Kevin and his groomsmen got ready at The Kingsley in Bloomfield Hills, while Emily and her bridesmaids settled into Wabeek itself. The morning was full of laughter, polaroids flying around the room, and sweet moments—like Emily’s mom helping her into her dress.
By afternoon, the weather couldn’t have been better. Their ceremony overlooked the lake, with just enough breeze to feel like the day was made for them. Guests spilled into cocktail hour right after, soaking in the view before heading inside to celebrate.
From portraits on the grounds to the dance floor that stayed packed until late, the whole day felt like one big celebration of family, friends, and connection. Emily and Kevin’s Wabeek Country Club wedding is one of those days that will stay with me for a long time.
