David and Christine’s wedding day was all about keeping things real and enjoying the people around them.
They started the morning at the Hilton, just a block from the Gem. After getting ready, they did a quick first look before portraits outside. The September weather was warmer than expected, so we finished up indoors at the theatre.
The ceremony took place right on stage. Friends and family filled the seats, and the whole thing felt relaxed but meaningful. If you noticed them putting up one finger, then four, then three, that’s their code for “I love you” (143)—a detail they carried into the day.
Dinner was served in the lower level, and then everyone came back upstairs for the party. The dance floor stayed busy, the laughs kept going, and the photo guest book gave people a fun way to leave their mark.
September at the Gem Theatre turned out to be the perfect setting for a wedding that was easygoing, personal, and full of moments worth remembering.
