Some weddings feel less like a new introduction and more like coming home. For us, Beth and Nick’s day was exactly that. While we often meet a whole new group of people at a wedding—which is its own kind of party, and we love it—this time, we walked into a space filled with family. We’ve been photographing Bethany’s family for nearly a decade, so we knew this day would be overflowing with genuine emotion.
The celebration even included their newest family member, a sweet little niece we got to sneak into St. Joe’s for a few photos. Some of our favorite moments from the day? Seeing Dad’s reaction to his daughter on her wedding day, Mom playfully coaxing the little ones down the aisle with candy (though they were perfect even without it!), and Grandpa being the one to marry them. We also found a lovely little pocket of spring beauty in Milan for portraits, and the reception at the Red Barn was a wonderful celebration.
Beth and Nick, we love you both, and congratulations again!
