These wonderful, beautiful souls ended my 2020 wedding season with moments at Pine Knob Carriage House that went on and on, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Let me spill the beans–Leah is a wedding planner, and so she picked a team that let her just enjoy all of the things on her wedding day. She had seen a few (or a lot) of weddings in her years and she knew how she wanted her day to look. And then 2020… Leah and Jason knew that it wasn’t about the location, or the weather, or what delicious food would be served for dinner. It was all about having their loved ones be there and support the start of their marriage. It’s such an honor when someone in our industry asks me to shoot their wedding but more than that, I am grateful we have become friends.
So, I won’t go on and on about the gorgeous ring that Jason popped on her finger or the florals…you can just obsess over them a little yourself. I will tell you that I cried with Leah during the vows (and I wasn’t alone in those tears). Those words were so heartfelt and honest that they need to be hand-lettered and hung in their home.
It was a really good day, and I look forward to watching them have many, many more.
Congratulations, Jason and Leah!
