Fall. In Michigan, we love it. We think about it. We buy little signs that go up in our house that remind us of the way the leaves get that golden and orange glow right before the winter comes. We even have wardrobes just for those few months.
For most Michigan photographers, it’s the busiest time of year. For me, I look forward to it since I know that while weather can be unpredictable, it’s almost always sort of magical. The sun’s rays give us a little extra something special on fall days. Brianna and Daniel’s wedding day was just as gorgeous as their engagement session. You shouldn’t miss it, so head on over here to drool a little. Brianna was just as lovely on that day as she was on her wedding day. I still have hair envy.
After the sweet rituals of getting ready with the bride’s gals and momma, we headed to St. Vincent De Paul in Pontiac for a wedding ceremony that I can’t even begin to describe accurately with words. I can tell you though that the old church was so ornate and lovely that it just added to the beauty of the wedding day. And I am totally guilty for getting lost in the details of the ceremony, but of course, I still favor the photo of the newlyweds right after they are pronounced married. That happiness is hard to top.
Brianna and Daniel celebrated their marriage later that afternoon at Paint Creek Country Club in Orion Township, and it was pretty much rocking. The venue left nothing undone, and the view was spectacular. Small details like the bride’s glitter tennis shoes, the monogrammed cake topper, and thank you cards on each of the tables were just a few of the amazing personal touches.
To the bride and groom, I wish you the very best. You are such a beautiful and sweet couple, and I am honored to have captured these beautiful memories of your wedding day.
And I need to give a shoutout to the rock stars that made this day awesome along with family and friends:
