There are days Maria and I head to a wedding and we are meeting 300 new people. For me, it’s like a party. I love meeting new people, getting to document not just a couple, but the people that make their lives to rich. And yes, we love the details.
But Beth and Nick’s wedding was one that we especially looked forward to. We walked into a space that is family. I have photographed Bethany’s family for close to 10 years and I knew that the day was going to be overflowing with emotion. In fact, they had just welcomed a new niece to the family–and we were given permission to sneak into St Joes’s to grab a few photos with her. Some of our favorite moments include dad’s seeing his baby on her wedding day, mom coaxing the little folks down the aisle with candy (and that wasn’t even needed, they were perfect), Grandpa being able to marry the couple, finding a little pocket of spring beauty in Milan for portraits, and a great celebration at the Red Barn.
