“We’re getting married. Masks or rain, we’re still getting married.” That’s the spirit of Travis and Jen. While not their exact words, their determination to say “I do” in front of a small group of loved ones was truly something to behold. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people more joyful.

It reminds me of a poem, Pablo Neruda’s “Sonnet XVII.” It speaks of a love that’s deep and true, not flashy or obvious, but hidden and essential, like the light within a flower that hasn’t bloomed yet. That’s what I saw in Travis and Jen. Their connection isn’t about grand gestures or perfect circumstances; it’s about a quiet, profound bond that shines through everything. They love each other without knowing how or why, just because. It’s a love so close, so entwined, that their dreams and hearts beat as one. Their wedding, simple and heartfelt, felt just like that.
