It’s gonna be tough not to be sappy, so I am not going to even bother to try. Forget it. My little brother met the girl of his dreams, and it didn’t take very long at all for me to get that text.
“I am gonna marry this girl”
Or something like that. I should have saved it. I didn’t save the text, but I knew I needed to get up north and meet this woman.
When I did, it took all of 10 minutes to realize that she was perfect for him. Deanna has a giggle that literally makes the whole room happy, but one of my favorite things about her is that she just looks at Mike the way we all hope to be looked it. We did some photos for their save the dates, and even the goofy ones she begged to keep. This girl is gold, and I knew that Mike was perfect for her too.
On their wedding day, my dear friend Janell Evans and her fiance Kyle came up top shoot most of the wedding for me. Of course, I was excited to bring my gear and capture some of the day, but I LOVED being able to enjoy a lot of it. Family and friends from everywhere came to celebrate in Frankenmuth with them. And we didn’t leave until well after midnight, since when we get to dance, we don’t stop.
Congratulations, Michael and Deanna. We love you!
Thanks to a bunch of folks that made their day wonderful.
