If I could describe Matt and Jess in one word, it would be energy. The two of them have so much energy, and it’s really incredibly fun energy that you just can’t help but feel when they are around. They really jive. I got to first experience it a few years back at their friend’s wedding and then even more at their engagement session (which was smokin’….check it out here…). I knew their wedding day wouldn’t be anything but exciting. And it sure was.
We got together with the girls getting ready. There is not much that compares to a bunch of best friends getting their best dresses on and fussy with a beautiful bride before her wedding. And since I knew a few of the girls, it was like hanging with old friends. I loved it. We headed to Mount Carmel (it is so beautiful) and witnessed these two getting hitched. It was perfect. We had a gorgeous day and decided to hang out right on the ground of the beautiful Wyandotte church and then spend the rest of the evening partying at Crystal Gardens.
So many of my favorite things: Jess’s veil (she loved it too and told me it was one of her favorite things), her momma’s vintage necklace, Matt’s wedding ring was his grandfathers…so much rich history in just a few of those things. And of course, I loved watching the party rock well into the evening
Jess and Matt, I adore you two and am so glad to call you friends. Congratulations again!
