John and Jessica’s late summer wedding was lovely. First, if I don’t make mention of the lace on Jessica’s dress–which stopped me in my tracks as soon as I saw it, I would be letting you all down. She found THE dress for her, and you have to just stop and stare with me for a minute when you scroll down.
The day itself was perfect. John and Jessica have such sweet and tender souls–that all day long my favorite images were caught just when they were embracing. And their ceremony was lovely. Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit boasts some of the most stunning architecture in Detroit. It’s as though the hallway filled with lush greens and eastern windows were put there just for someone to make art. It’s gorgeous.
We photographed the wedding party at the Eastern Market and the sunshine sure didn’t disappoint. The reception was just as fantastic as the ceremony itself. John and Jessica arrived early to Arnaldo’s so that they could greet their guests upon arrival. That means I got to snap photos of their guests and capture the Magnificant details inside the venue. Bellisario outdid themselves with the florals, and the other pieces of the decor were handmade by family. In fact, John hand make the cake box, card box, and guest table. What a treasure.
Guys, and the dance floor was PACKED. What a great celebration.
