The Henry Ford Fair Lane Estate is one of my favorite locations for an engagement session all year round, rain or shine. In summer, the grounds are lush, green, and awe-inspiring. If you haven’t visited, it’s a must-see in the metro area (you can check out the location here). In just a few moments of exploring the grounds, you will find yourself planning your portraits there! (You think I’m kidding.)
Haylie and Tony—just wow. What a beautiful couple inside and out. They brought the magic with them, adding to the already gorgeous backdrop. We spent the first hour of their engagement session finding pockets of light and getting to know each other. One of my favorite parts of my job is truly getting to know each couple before their wedding day. I love seeing how they naturally show affection—hugs will always be my favorite—what makes them laugh, what makes them connect on a deeper level, what makes them them.
Haylie and Tony have a September wedding planned for 2022, and I know that it will be one for the books.
