I’ve spent a good portion of 2021 looking forward to Andres and Elizabeth’s Grosse Ile Country Club Wedding. As I’ve gotten to know them as a couple, I noticed that family is extremely important to them. It’s one thing to be devoted to your own family, but to blessed by loved ones on both sides? It’s a true treasure.
On the morning of their wedding, you could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. Andres and Elizabeth were more than ready to meet each other at the altar. When Elizabeth FINALLY got to see her groom, she welled with tears. I LIVE for those genuine moments of love and overwhelming emotion.
The two were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Since there were a few hours between the ceremony and the reception, Elizabeth’s parents hosted guests in their lovely backyard. What could be better than beer, snacks, and fun in the August sun?
We then headed to the Grosse Ile Country Club for cocktail hour. The evening was filled with touching speeches, adorable kids on the dance floor, and time to sneak out for sunset photos.
While Andres and Elizabeth enjoyed having every guest and loved one at their wedding, they only had eyes for each other. This was my absolute detail of the day.
Congratulations, friends! You are more than special!
