Winter in Detroit makes for a truly magical wedding and celebrating at the Colony Club is the icing on the cake.
I met Catherine a few years ago and she was doing some modeling in front of my camera. I was obsessed with her, of course, and so when she let me know she had met THE ONE, I was thrilled and could not wait to photograph her wedding day. As they started planning, they knew that they didn’t want to wait too long, and so they planned a gorgeous winter wedding. A few of you might know, but my husband and I had a winter wedding, and all I wanted was snow that day. We didn’t get it, but you can imagine that I was dancing in the street at Colin and Catherine’s wedding.
There are too many special details for me to name. But that dress, and the fact that Colin and Catherine found Rev. Canon Michael Stein who clearly has a vested interest in their future, and those sweet little flower girls….all made the day utter perfection. The best? I asked the two what they were most excited (and I expected to hear one of them respond the trip to Cabo…), but Colin just couldn’t wait to smooth his bride.
Their Gem Theatre wedding was spectacular.
Blessings to you, friends + congratulations again!
