It’s getting real. My brother is getting married. THIS month.
A while back Mike called. You can guess it. I was wondering what was wrong since normal communication normally includes one-line text messages. But his voice was like I had never heard before and he said, “Michele, you have to meet Deanna. I am gonna marry this girl.” He had never said those words or sound just like he was the happiest human on the planet. I had to meet this girl as soon as possible. So we did. And immediately ALL of us fell completely in love with her (my boys can’t sit close enough to her when she is in the room). She is perfect for him. Mike might be the most quick-witted person I have ever met. Before his jokes even register with most people, he is on to the next. But Deanna is clearly brilliant as she gets his humor. And loves it, just like we do.
She wins. He wins.
And they are going to be one happy married couple.

P.S. I got to shoot two sessions with these two, well, since I can. One may have included dinner at the Detroit Beer Co….so we had a blast at both sessions. Here is the winter session.
So, since we wanted to do some summer portraits, we headed to the city around dinner time-and photographed the two of them more. Can’t go wrong with a session I get to bring my husband Brian + end up at dinner.
