Elegant. Timeless. Black-tie stunning.
These are the words that describe the day that Sarah and Brandon had planned over their engagement. Everyone around them can see they are that meant for each other…and they both truly do light up in each other’s presence. As a fan the Motor City, this day couldn’t have been more fun for me to photograph. The ceremony was in Dearborn, but before we celebrated at the DAC we hit some of Sarah and Brandon’s favorite iconic Detroit spots. If you love the Joe, the old train station, Comerica, and the Detroit skyline, you don’t want to miss drooling over these shots.
The couple greeted friends and family at the Detroit Athletic Club. It was sort of like walking into a fairy tale. Sarah’s well chosen decor and lovely little details fit them just right. It was just plain breathtaking. To top it off, the last photos of the evening were shot during Comerica Park’s fireworks after Detroit Tiger’s baseball game.
Brandon and Sarah, you both are graceful and gorgeous together. May your days be as bright as your August wedding day.
