Love is not a feeling, it’s an action, and we saw this over and over during Brandon and Maria’s day at Silver Shores.
I don’t know who first said it, but it’s my favorite quote. We need the reminder though. We can “feel” things and feelings come and go and changed based on the wind. Love isn’t that way. It’s an action. It’s looking at your person and thinking ahead and doing the little thing that will make them happy. It’s ordering a vegetarian pizza when you just really want a meat-lovers pie. It’s doing the extra chores when your person isn’t feeling so hot.
For Maria & Brandon, I think they already get this concept. These two are so much fun, and I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding after a long winter. I loved that Maria got ready at her family home, and we got to make photos in their front garden. Brandon’s face during the ceremony was precious, but he was absolutely beaming when he walked back down the aisle with his new bride. Silver Shores Waterfront was the perfect spot for their celebration. The dance floor was ROCKING!
