Some wedding days are built around a timeline. Others are built around the people.
Amanda and Andrew’s wedding was the second kind.
From the beginning of the day, there was a sense that everyone was exactly where they wanted to be. Family and friends filled every part of the celebration, catching up, laughing together, and making the most of having everyone in one place.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Mother Handsome in Oak Park for a reception that felt relaxed and true to them. Pizza was shared around the tables, conversations carried on between bites, and before long, the dance floor was full. It stayed that way well into the evening.
Amanda and Andrew never seemed to worry about what came next. They simply enjoyed the day as it unfolded, and that made every part of it feel genuine. There wasn’t a need to create moments. They were already happening.
