Engagements

Heather + Pete

May 7, 2020

Heather and Pete’s engagement session was a whirlwind.  We met at their house to snap a few photos with Lucy–well since Lucy’s a huge part of their world. Lucy was even there when Pete proposed, and they shared just a little of their story.

From Heather: “He proposed on April 21, 2019 Easter. He did so in our new home in the kitchen. Shortly after Lucy and he was done finding their Easter baskets. He grabbed me into a big bear hug, while I, of course, was already getting into his Easter candy (peanut butter m&ms to be exact), and asked: “Do you love me?” I replied, “Of course.” Followed by “Forever?” and I again, of course, said “Yes.” Then he surprised me with a “How about…How about you spend the rest of your life with me?” He then got down on one knee and opened the ring box. Lucy witnessed it all  and was jumping for joy as Mom, quickly replied “Yes.” With tears of pure happiness!”

And Heather, I would have been getting into the Easter candy too. Since I buy it, I always make sure to have Reese’s eggs. You can’t go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter.

But enough of that.  Just obsess with me about their photos.
