Brandon and Kelcie are fellow transplants from the thumb area to the Metro Detroit. We have a lot in common…our love for sugar beet trucks and country living and of course the Detroit Tigers. (ok, I made that up. I don’t know if they really love sugar beet trucks, but if you live in the thumb of Michigan, you might as well…).
There was just so much fun and love packed in one November Saturday. A great ceremony, one of my favorite first looks between a bride and her daddy, and a few hours (yes, hours….) for portraits. And I knew that there was a surprised planned for the couple and thankfully had to “stall” and take extra photo with these two in the lovely fall light. Bummer for me.
Venue: Van Hoosen Farms

But right before the reception started, Paws arrived on scene. Brandon and Kelcie. I am pretty sure that the folks planning this gift couldn’t have been happier with Brandon and Kelcie’s reaction.
They celebrated the evening with a great party at the Van Hoosen Farms. And the night ended in smores. Yup, you know it’s a good night when it ends in smores.
Congratulations, Brandon and Kelcie!
