True Story.
Faraz and Yasmine spent their undergrad at Michigan State. They were friends, but nothing more.
After college, they lived across the country from each other. Out of the blue, Faraz sent Yasmine flowers telling her how he had felt about her throughout their college years.
The timing, right? If you are lucky enough to call Faraz and Yasmine friends (and I am one of those lucky ones), then you wonder how they keep apart. They are just phenomenal together.
But it didn’t matter. Once he had written of his feelings, they knew they would take on the distance challenge, and they had been together ever since.
And finally, they arrived at their wedding day. No more waiting to be together. It arrived.

A little later in the evening, Yasmine changed into her dancing dress. Faraz danced his first dance with his wife. During their traditional reception, the two separated for a time and the men celebrated with the men and the women celebrated with the women. A big thank you to Brandon Reis of Brandon Reis Photography for capturing the guys doing their thing. It was definitely a great time had by everyone.
After a few hours of dancing, Faraz came back to claim his stunning bride and sweep her off her feet. We headed downtown to shoot a few portraits before the night was over.
Congratulations, friends. I can’t wait to find out what your future has for you, but I think it is going to be beautiful!
Thank you to all that helped make Faraz and Yasmine’s day so special. Their family and friends were absolutely wonderful making the day incredible.
