Come live with me, and be my love,
And we will some new pleasures prove
Of golden sands, and crystal brooks,
With silken lines, and silver hooks –John Donne
It’s familiar.
We know the city girl in the movies who falls in love with the country boy. It’s just a movie, most of the the time. But not in today’s story. Sara and Robert fell in love…even though her favorite view probably includes a skyline of the Ren Cen, and he really prefers to spend time as close to a deer blind as possible. These things don’t matter at all. She learned to fish & he lives in the city & they both love to golf. They are quite the picture of opposites attracting, but they will share their future together.
Sara and Robert were married in one of the most lovely places in the Detroit area. Lovett Hall in Dearborn is close to my home and heart, and I love every single inch of this gorgeous venue. Pair this venue with incredible flowers, lovely details of all sorts, and the marriage of two beautiful people, its like a dream.
And it is my hope that Sara and Robert will celebrate as they did this day for years to come.
Congratulations, friends!
It takes a team to throw a perfect celebration. Sara and Robert had some fantastic people making this day so special. Of course, we first thank Sara and Robert’s parents, family, and friends. But there were some fantastic vendors that made the details shine, and I would recommend every single one of these folks
