Kyle and Tara’s wedding day was on my calendar for quite a while. Last summer, I had the best time hanging out around Detroit and shooting their engagement session. Sure, you should peek at them here. They were at ease in front of the camera and had no issue showing me not only what crazy fun people they were but also how much they loved each other. From that day, I knew that I would be able to witness one of those weddings that every person in attendance would be celebrating.
Kyle and Tara had a few hours between their gorgeous ceremony at Mount Carmel in Wyandotte, and so we headed downtown to Detroit for some photos. Yup, we stopped on the riverfront near the Joe. We traveled Fort Street and came upon some make-my-heart-sing Detroit spots. Urban skyline? Check. Gorgeous colors and foliage? Check. Oh, and some graffiti? Check.
A whole bunch of family and friends that absolutely adore these two gathered together at the Grecian Center in Southgate. It’s awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves just to celebrate the love that these two have for each other.
