It’s been 20 years since I haven’t had time on Lake Michigan in the summer, so when Steve and Jen called me about their wedding at The Lake House in Ludington, I was thrilled. The two love the smell of Lake Michigan and the summer breeze coming off of the shore, and let me tell you, the lake house is the perfect venue for a simple wedding enjoying everything Ludington has to offer.
The two were married right on the edge of the water and celebrated. They even snuck out with me to enjoy some of Michigan’s sand dunes.
I would go back in a heartbeat. I bet there will be some fantastic anniversaries celebrated on the lake.
