There are so many special places in Detroit to take great photos. I love chatting with a couple to find out things that they love–and one of the locations that is special to all of their family is Ste. Anne de Detroit. We met up to shoot their engagement photos on a windy fall day. Since Vanessa was born and raised in Canada, we wanted to pay just a little tribute to her home and made a few fun photos to honor our friends to the north.
These two spent the rest of the session with me exploring little nooks of the park, cuddling in the Willows, and just letting me make images of their beautiful faces.
It was a really good day.
