Kyle and Katy’s wedding at Ste. Anne de Detroit was a perfect mix of history and the crisp feel of fall in the city. The golden light streaming through the church’s tall arches and the leaves just starting to turn made for a beautiful setting for their big day.
Katy got ready at her parents’ home, surrounded by her closest friends, laughter, and a few celebratory sips. One of the quietest, most moving moments was when her dad saw her in her dress for the first time. The room fell silent for a second, then happy tears and big smiles took over—a memory you don’t forget.
The ceremony at Ste. Anne de Detroit was truly special. The church’s high ceilings, colorful stained glass, and detailed stonework created a grand and meaningful setting as Katy walked down the aisle. Sunlight filtered through the windows, giving everything a warm, golden glow. The way Kyle looked at her said it all; this was the moment they’d waited for.
After the ceremony, we used Ste. Anne de Detroit’s stunning architecture for portraits. Then, we made a quick stop at the Detroit Public Library, where the classic building and a light snowfall made for some timeless, elegant photos. Every picture showed the happiness and excitement of their day.
The reception at Fox Hills was a night to remember. Between the heartfelt toasts, nonstop dancing, and the energy of their family and friends, the celebration was everything they had hoped for.
