Katelyn + Scott’s Summer Session at Belle Isle Detroit

Some sessions remind us why we love what we do. Katelyn and Scott’s summer session at Belle Isle in Detroit felt more like a casual afternoon enjoying the green space of Belle Isle than formal portraits. We wandered throughout the park, walked to the lighthouse, and then snagged a sunset over the city. It was literally a breath of fresh air, since we snuck out on an evening the weather gave us a break in humidity.

It’s been a few years, since I have had my camera at Belle Isle, and frankly, I missed being there. It’s such a treasure in Detroit!
