Glen Oaks Wedding in Farmington Hills
Derek and Alyssa’s wedding day was one of those that just sticks with you. It was beautiful, filled with so many people who love them, and all the wonderful things you celebrate at a wedding. I’ll always remember the flower girl’s face when she first saw Alyssa in her dress – just pure wonder. And honestly, Alyssa took everyone’s breath away.
It was a warm, cloudy day, and we weren’t sure if their ceremony would be outside or in. But the rain held off just long enough, and they were married outdoors. We even managed to get most of the family photos done before the skies opened up. We all rushed for cover, but the rain didn’t stop the celebrating one bit.
There were so many sweet details that day. Alyssa wore her matron of honor Taylor’s veil, which was so special. And the flowers and decorations were just stunning. Even though their sweet pup Stella couldn’t be there, little touches throughout the day reminded everyone of her.
But my favorite moment? Definitely Alyssa and Derek’s first dance. The way he looked at his new wife – you could just feel the love. That final photo captures it perfectly.
