What a beautiful winter wedding. It’s not that often in December in Michigan that an entire day has so much sunshine. All-day long the sun steamed in windows and bathed Paige and Dan and their loved ones in light. It seemed to celebrate who Dan and Paige are as humans. The morning was relaxing, and some of the BEST times were just the candid smiles getting ready and of course, dad seeing Paige in her dress before his tux was on–the perfect unstaged first look. Dan and Paige had a prayer before the ceremony, and Father Patrick Gonyeau married the two in a captivating ceremony. I couldn’t begin to recount all of the little ways that Dan and Paige honored each other or their families, but it was wonderful. We captured just a few minutes of portraits outside of the church as the Michigan sun dipped below the horizon early in the day and then headed to Orchard Lake for the reception. They did things a little differently. Right after appetizers were served, everyone enjoyed a set of music and dancing. It was definitely a party to remember!
Congratulations, Dan and Paige!
