Nick and Emilie did all the right things. They met on a canoe trip. Nick picked her up on their first date in a purple convertible. They hit it off right away. They had nachos at their wedding (um, if you have nachos available, you get some serious points with me). And they didn’t care at all that it rained.
Now that I have you intrigued, you should take a look at their engagement session. We captured the images at Kensington Metropark and the location was seemed completely made for them. Take a quick look here. Can you see why I knew the wedding day would be fantastic? It totally was. They wrote beautiful letters to each other. Tears flowed during the ceremony. There were breathtaking florals. And oh my goodness, the dances were so much fun. But we had the best timing on the rain, and I love it when we all feel like we can step out and dare to get a little wet at the end of the evening.
Congratulations, Nick and Emilie!
