Ben and Janan’s Livonia Michigan wedding was more than a celebration of their marriage, it was a tribute to their families, culture, and the love that connects it all.
The day started early with Janan getting ready with her bridesmaids, then heading to her parents’ home for the traditional Talaa’. It was one of the most emotional parts of the day. Her father saw her for the first time and couldn’t stop smiling through tears. “I’m the best smiler from smiling school,” he joked, and honestly, we believed him.
Janan’s family presented her with gold before Ben’s parents arrived to greet her.
After the ceremony, we took portraits at Ben and Janan’s new condo. The spring trees were blooming, and using their first home as a backdrop made the moment feel even more personal.
The reception was held at St. Mary’s Cultural Center, where tradition and celebration came together. The Zeffa and the Candle Dance filled the dance floor, surrounded by smiling guests and heartfelt energy.
These are the kinds of weddings that stay with you, real, meaningful, and full of life.
We loved every moment. Congratulations, Ben and Janan!
