National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica Wedding
The summer of 2020 was a peculiar one, filled with quiet unknowns. Yet, amidst it all, for Victoria and Brendon, it was the summer their hearts found their way home.
They envisioned something truly theirs, a day woven with intimacy and deep meaning. And so, within the hushed grandeur of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, they exchanged vows. The basilica’s serene beauty was the perfect witness to a day centered on love, faith, and the simple joy of becoming one.
Victoria, a vision of classic grace, wore a gown from Designs by Geri Hughes, discovered at Becker’s Bridal, a name whispered in so many Michigan wedding tales. Her bridesmaids, like soft blushes of dawn, wore dresses from Renz Rags, while Brendon and his groomsmen stood tall in timeless tuxes from The Tux Shop on Woodward.
Every detail spoke of understated elegance. Her bouquet, a gentle whisper of blooms from Viviano’s, echoed the day’s peaceful harmony. And her hair and makeup, perfected by Beauty & Boutique, were simply her, radiant without pretense.
Their wedding, though set in an unusual season, was a testament to quiet joy. It was a beautiful reminder that even when the world pauses, love, in its purest form, always finds a way forward.
Now, after a season of patient waiting, Victoria and Brendon are finally off on their long-awaited honeymoon this September. Vegas and California beckon, promising new adventures, sun-kissed days, and a whole lot of well-deserved celebration for a love that began with such quiet grace.
